No newer official Steam news patch has posted since the July 26 Minor Update. The live calendar still drives the week:
- Galactic War: Season Zero — FINAL WEEK — Ends August 2, 2026. Checklist: Season Zero final week. Full systems: Season Zero.
- First Contact Invitational — Mid-ladder toward August 8; Swiss BO3 + BO5 finals August 9 (19:00 Moscow); $13,000. Details: Invitational.
- Clip & portrait quests — Discord clips ($100+$100) plus Medal.tv Bastion / party portraits from the July 24 Weekend Update.
- Client patches — Day One + July 24 balance + July 26 Minor. Index: patch notes.
- Press / reception — Steam Mostly Positive after week one; updated Early Access review.
Stabilize with troubleshooting, then the launch checklist.
Priority schedule (July–August 2026)
- Now → August 2 — Daily Season Zero co-op; do not bank cosmetics on a final-hour grind.
- Now → August 3 — Steam launch discount window ($35.99 / 10% off; pricing may rise later in EA).
- Now → August 8 — Invitational ladder streams; meta still keyed to July 24 — PvP meta.
- August 9 — Swiss + playoffs broadcast (19:00 Moscow).
