ZeroSpace is a PC-first real-time strategy title from Starlance Studios, releasing on Steam Early Access July 20, 2026. As an RTS+RPG with large unit counts, hero effects, and Galactic War map layers, performance scales with CPU throughput and GPU fill rate during clustered engagements. Official storefront requirements may receive minor adjustments during Early Access as optimization patches ship. Starlance Studios targets stable 60 FPS at 1080p on recommended hardware in typical skirmish and Galactic War matches. Campaign missions with heavy scripting and cinematics can spike CPU usage during intro sequences independent of mid-battle performance.

Before July 20, update GPU drivers, enable Game Mode on Windows, and install ZeroSpace on an SSD to reduce texture streaming hitches when jumping between the galactic strategy layer and ground battles. RTS games are sensitive to mouse polling and keyboard ghosting; use wired peripherals when possible, especially if you adopt advanced quality-of-life control settings.

In-game, lower shadow quality and post-processing first, then unit effect density if you still drop frames during ultimate abilities from heroes or mercenaries. Cap frame rate slightly below your monitor refresh to reduce variance, which improves camera panning precision.

After installing, run the tutorial or first campaign mission to validate stability before queuing Galactic War.
