Galactic War Alliances
Choose your Galactic War alliance in ZeroSpace Season Zero: Eden Accord (Grell), Obsidian Order (Legion), and Keeper Council (Protectorate). Learn territory rules, buffs, and roster strategy.
Alliances versus main factions
In Galactic War, alliances are the persistent team you fight for on the strategic map. Main factions—Protectorate, Grell, Xol, and Legion—define your RTS economy, production buildings, and core army. You can play any main faction while contributing to any alliance; alliance identity is thematic and territorial, not a hard roster lock.
Season Zero (July 20–August 2, 2026) asks players to pledge to one of three creator-led alliances and expand from the galactic rim toward the center. The alliance that controls the central planet when the war ends—or holds the most influence—wins the season. See the Season Zero guide for scoring and dates.
Eden Accord
Eden Accord is the Grell-aligned alliance identity on the galactic board—expansion-heavy, map-control focused, and suited to players who enjoy biomass spread and multi-front pressure. Grell commanders often anchor Eden Accord pushes, but Protectorate or Xol players who excel at securing peripheral planets and starving opponents of expansions also thrive here.
Recommended mercenary pairings include Valkaru early pressure and Weaver creep acceleration on open layouts. Coordinate tower captures early; Eden Accord lines collapse when inner planets fall because buff stacking near the core is disproportionately powerful. Review Grell faction tactics and map lane notes before committing daily co-op sessions.
Obsidian Order
Obsidian Order aligns with Legion aesthetics and siege doctrine—slow, grinding captures on stronghold planets where turrets, raid bosses, and air-strike structures matter. Legion mains naturally fit, yet Obsidian Order also welcomes Xol fusion players who win extended tower fights through unit combining.
Prioritize stronghold planets listed on the Galactic War map; Obsidian Order loses seasons when it overextends without fortifying captured worlds. Marran tanks and Hel shields stabilize defense during enemy counter-pushes. Read the Frozen Watch guide for choke-heavy layouts that favor Obsidian attrition.
Keeper Council
Keeper Council is the Protectorate-aligned alliance—structured macro, defensive strongpoints, and reliable co-op scheduling. Protectorate players leading economy benchmarks help Keeper Council alliances sustain multi-planet assaults without supply collapses.
Grace infantry timing and Protectorate artillery platforms shine when Keeper Council holds central ridge towers on RTS maps spawned from galactic sectors. Pair with Koru sustain or Marran frontlines depending on enemy mercenary scouting. Cross-reference Protectorate guides and Season Zero tier picks before alliance lock-in.
All three alliances compete simultaneously on the same ~50-planet map during Early Access. Pick based on community, schedule, and strategic role—not because one alliance is permanently stronger. Balance patches during Season Zero can shift optimal mercenary targets for each alliance within days.
